A converted Airbus A320 is ‘one of the most unique experiences’

Somebody converted a disused Airbus A320 into a nice Airbnb and it looks tremendous.

Located in South Wales, away from the chaos and noise of the big cities, this Airbus is guaranteed to give its guests (s) a unique experience.

Also, in a way, it sort of feels private jet-esque.

The fuselage and part of the cockpit of the Airbus A320 have been remodeled to serve as a home for two people.

What’s more, it isn’t even that expensive, priced at £199 per night – equivalent to $250.

It’s all about using the available space in the Airbus in a clever way

One of the most interesting things about it is how the owner integrated the components of an Airbnb location into the existing features of an Airbus.

It’s like the Airbus was designed to become an Airbnb someday.

The kitchen, for example, was carved out of the existing space where the crew provided meals and beverages while the plane was airborne.

The microwave oven is exactly the same as the one the crew might use to heat up your ciabatta on your way to Mallorca from London Heathrow.

Or perhaps we should say Mallorca from Paris, because this Airbus used to belong to Air France.

The owners of the Airbnb decided not to remove Air France logos and labels, which is a nice touch.

When planes become homes

You don’t have to search too hard to find an Airbnb accommodation that used to be a plane.

There’s a man in the UK who turned a Boeing 737 into a nice holiday home, and in this case they used the cockpit as well as part of their Airbnb.

Then there’s another holiday home, a stone’s throw from the Airbus Airbnb we’ve just mentioned, which is a decommissioned Lockheed Jetstar.

But the most famous jet-turned-Airbnb is the Boeing 737 that’s available for rent in Bali, Indonesia.

Some call it the ‘best villa in the world’, and it even comes with jaw-dropping views of the ocean and its own private swimming pool.
