To celebrate a very exciting milestone for the EV automaker, the state of Texas has welcomed a pretty special Tesla supercharger.
The company has installed its 70,000th supercharger in Burleson, Texas, and Tesla decided to mark the occasion with a post.
The Tesla supercharger is bigger, better and a massive achievement for the company, considering the amount of superchargers that have opened in the past eight months.
Back in 2017, Tesla only had around 5,000 stalls across various locations, but this number has skyrocketed to a very significant amount – well done, Tesla!

It’s a very big milestone for Tesla
The Lone Star State is home to very many wonderful things, but now Texas has added one new wonderful thing to its roster.
To celebrate hitting an important milestone, Tesla has installed a special supercharger in Burleson, and it’s bigger and better than ever.
The new Burleson site marks the 70,000th supercharger stall unveiled globally, and to mark the occasion, the automaker made an announcement on X.

Everything is bigger in Texas, including its Tesla Supercharger
What makes this a special supercharger, apart from it being the 70,000th stall of its kind, is that it’s a big’un with 12 stalls of supercharging glory.
Only eight months have passed since the company unveiled its 60,000th supercharger stall which is a bit farther away in Enshu Morimachi in Japan, so the supercharger stalls are multiplying at an almost alarming rate.
Eight years ago, only 5,000 supercharger stalls were in operation from the EV automaker, so it shows how much money is going into opening as many of the sites as possible.
12 stalls are pretty impressive, but it isn’t Tesla’s biggest charging site, as that title goes to a 20-stall site located in Goulburn, New South Wales, in Australia.
Don’t mess with Texas, their Tesla EVs are just too well-charged.
