A heavily graffitied Tesla Cybertruck has been spotted abandoned in a Los Angeles parking lot and people are stumped about how and why it ended up there.
Images of the truck shared on Instagram show that it was first spotted earlier this month.
The EV is now in a seriously sorry state and appears to have sustained a serious amount of fire damage.
The already-damaged Cybertruck has since been covered in graffiti.

The abandoned Tesla Cybertruck is in a bad way
Although the first deliveries of the Tesla Cybertruck were only a little over a year ago, this isn’t the first time that one has been abandoned.
This Cybertruck in Seattle became an unlikely tourist attraction after it went viral online.
And now, this LA parking lot has its own abandoned truck, but this one is in seriously bad shape.
The Cybertruck is known for being virtually indestructible, but this one has been ravaged by fire.
It’s unclear how the fire started, but images shared on Instagram show that the fire likely started around the dashboard before spreading across to the front driver’s side.
One of the truck’s tires has popped and its frunk is now stuck permanently open.

Since a man called Miguel Osuna originally shared photos of the EV online, it’s had an even worse time.
More recent images from Osuna and Heera Kapoor, show that local graffiti artists wasted zero time, taking on the Tesla and it’s now almost entirely covered in paint.
The series of images has caused a bit of a stir online, with some folks claiming it looks like an art installation and others even saying they quite like its new graffitied look.
How or why the Cybertruck ended up dumped in an LA park lot is unclear, and it’s also not known how long it will remain there before it’s collected either by its owner or officials.
One thing that is clear, is that repairing the Cybertruck’s extensive damage won’t come cheap.
