Like a rich person’s version of Pokémon GO, this man went driving around Beverly Hills trying to catch a glimpse of abandoned hypercars that appear to have become a distant memory to their owners
There are few neighborhoods in the world quite like Beverly Hills.
While many towns and cities have been designed to replicate it, the affluent city is truly the original millionaire’s hideout.
But unfortunately, it’s not all glitz and glam, as there appears to be an abundance of abandoned supercars chilling on the sidelines.

Abandoned hypercars on the streets of Beverly Hills
As LA’s prime suburban location, Beverly Hills attracts some of the most sought-after cars.
But many have been left to collect dust on the side of the road.
One famous example is the Shelby GT500, which has been racking up thousands of dollars worth of parking fines.
But that’s just one of many.
And now YouTube personality effspot has hunted some of them down.
In a recent upload, the popular carspotter started by showcasing highlights, including Lamborghinis and Ferraris sitting on roads or on the back of removal trucks.
The highlight of the bunch was a Lamborghini Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae Roadster (one of 250 in the world), which was being escorted off its curbside parking spot.

Other cars like an Aston Martin Vanquish, a Ferrari 812 GTS, and a pink Mercedes C63S were all spotted roadside.
But things ramped up a notch underground.
A garage made in supercar heaven
The abandoned hypercar collection continued to grow in one of the many underground carbon fiber cemeteries that populate Beverly Hills.
This particular car heaven had notable highlights such as a McLaren 675LT and a Ferrari 599XX.
Dust had even grown over newer EVs, such as a range of Lucid Airs and custom Bentleys and Rolls-Royce SUVs.
As the tour went deeper, the apparently abandoned hypercars only got more expensive, with a row of McLaren SLRs flanked by an Elva Speedtail and a Bugatti Chiron Super Sport.

Many of these abandoned supercars are likely still at the forefront of their owners’ minds, but simply don’t feature as a daily driver.
Nobody wants to rack up mileage on these beauties every day, so instead they collect dust underground.
