This car-bike hybrid vehicle from French startup Acticycle looks unlike anything else we’ve seen before.
Have you ever wondered what you’d get if you crossed an electric bicycle with a tiny electric car?
Well, wonder no longer because Acticycle has got the answer with its unique vehicle.
The vehicle comes in three models, and all of them offer two seats, four wheels, and a small windshield and roof.

For those who don’t fancy using a car to get around the city, there are plenty of other options out there, and some of them are pretty wild, like this walking bike that is basically a treadmill on wheels, or this hydrogen-powered ebike that takes just three seconds to refill the tank.
Joining those weird and wonderful creations is the car-bike hybrid Acticycle.

The Acticycle is a four-wheel pedelec, and your pedal power actually helps to power the battery-powered motor.
It comes in three models, starting with the base 250-watt option that has an electric-assisted top speed of 16mph (25 km/h) and has a range of 28 miles (45km).
Next up, there’s a 750-watt, 28mph (45km/h) model that claims a 43.5-mile (70km) range.
Finally, there’s the top-of-the-line version that ditches the chain-drive drivetrain in favor of an electronic drivetrain that has two motors that produce a combined 4,000 watts and has a top speed of 28mph (45 km/h) with 43.5 miles (70km) of range.
It has a little extra torque, too, and can tackle hills up to 20 percent grade.

All three models are built using an aluminum frame and have two padded bucket seats.
The car-bike hybrid doesn’t have a door, but it does have a windshield and roof to keep you and your passenger dry.
There’s also a small trunk at the rear of the vehicle, making it a handy choice for popping out to get some groceries.
The Acticycle starts at $13,564 for the base model, going up to $16,414 for the top-of-the-range 4000W one; and each order takes about four to six months to be fulfilled.
