An Airbus A400M, an enormous transport plane used by the Royal Air Force in the UK, was filmed performing an unusual and complicated maneuver.
A plane this big is not supposed to be that agile while performing such a maneuver, but as we can see from the video, it’s pretty graceful.
It probably won’t break the record that the Lockheed Martin LM-100J set, but it’s still mighty impressive, considering how heavy the plane is, the wing alone weighs 6,500 kg.
It can carry up to 37 metric tons of cargo for up to 2,000 nautical miles, equivalent to 3,700 km or 2,300 miles.
The Airbus A400m Atlas is a four-engine turboprop military aircraft and Airbus has built 124 so far, with several other countries operating it.
