MG has unveiled the all-new MGS6 EV is here and offers an impressive range, plenty of space, and some pretty cool tech.
Earlier this year, MG launched two new luxury electric cars: the MG IM5 and the MG IM6.
Now, it’s added a new EV to its lineup in the UK in the form of the MGS6 SUV, and it’s got solid specs.
MG has confirmed that the EV will be available this month – here’s what to expect.

The MGS6 EV will be available in three trims
Hot on the heels of its two recent EV launches, MG is hoping the MGS6 will launch the company into ‘new market segments’.
It will be available in three trims: the MGS6 EV SE Long Range, the MGS6 EV Trophy Long Range, and the MGS6 EV Trophy Dual Motor.

The standard rear-wheel drive MGS6 EV SE Long Range comes with a single motor and offers up to 329 miles of range, while the MGS6 EV Trophy Long Range features the same specs but comes with more tech and equipment, like a Head Up Display and heated seats.
Finally, the all-wheel drive MGS6 EV Trophy Dual Motor that offers more power than its siblings thanks to its dual motor.
It doesn’t have quite as much range as the other two trims, with around 301 miles between charges, but it has a 0-62mph time of just 5.2 seconds.
All three trims come with fast charging that can take it from 10 percent to 80 percent in just 38 minutes.
Inside there’s lots of room and plenty of tech
The MGS6 is a seriously spacious EV, with a roomy cabin as well as a traditional truck and a frunk offering plenty of storage space.
MG says that ‘based on customer feedback’ it has included physical dials and buttons in the cabin, which are integrated into the central console and are used to operate functions like heating and ventilation.

But alongside the old-school physical buttons there’s an impressive amount of tech.
All trim levels include a high-definition 10.25-inch driver display and 12.8-inch infotainment screen, while the Trophy models feature a Head Up Display, which shows important vehicle and safety information as well as navigation.
The Trophy trim EVs also include heated and ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, and an 11-speaker sound system.
The interiors can be either be finished in either gray or beige leather-style seats with suede effect inserts and carbon effect or natural trim.
The Long Range and the Trophy Long Range come with a price tag of £37,995 (around $49,610) and £40,995 ($53,527), respectively, while the Trophy Dual Motor will cost £43,995 ($57,444).
