Attending every single F1 race in a season is a dream for many fans, but what is the cost to make it happen?
F1 ticket prices aren’t cheap, and things are known to get pricey during race day.
There are also many race locations around the world, further complicating things.
However, an American TikToker crunched the numbers, and came up with an answer for the question.

The content creator, driversden.tv, sorted out the expenses into three categories: lodging, tickets, and travel.
Lodging was the least expensive category, at $14,400 in total, or $7,200 if you’re traveling with a friend.

This was calculated by assuming an average hotel cost of $300 per night, with two nights spent at each of the 24 races.
Next, he estimated three-day tickets for ‘decent grandstand seats’ would cost $900 for two people. Over the course of the season, that comes to $21,600 in total, or $10,800 per person.

Finally, travel costs were unsurprisingly the biggest expense.
Assuming you lived in New York City, a round-trip ticket, in economy, to each race is estimated to cost $1,600 each, or $800 per person.
With 24 races, the total adds up to $38,400, or $19,200 per person.
But he also added an extra category for miscellaneous expenses. He used a ‘very conservative estimate’ of $250 in total per trip, or $125 per person.
This adds up to $6,000 in total, or $3,000 each.
So what’s the grand total?
Well, everything added up to $80,400 for two people, which is actually less than many people thought.
Of course, he acknowledged that this was simply an estimate and that certain races or locations would be outliers in terms of cost.
For example, he brought up how hotels in Monaco charge about $900 per night during F1. That’s three times the amount he estimated on average.
But, with cars like this $142 million Mercedes driving around, you can hardly blame them.
However, this is still a really good guide to how much you need to borrow from the bank in order to attend every single F1 race in a season.
