An historic car maker, Ford’s attempt at reincarnating its beloved Mustang GT with an electric pop has gone down a treat.

If nothing else, the Mach-E certainly looks the part.

But the company recently came out in defense of the car after doubts were raised about its range.

So is the Mustang Mach-E actually the real deal? Well, YouTuber Cobra Carlos might have your answer as he reveals details all EV buyers should know.

In a recent video, Carlos revealed that he’s owned his Mach-E for two years and that many of the EV’s features are exemplary.

One of the biggest issues, though, is charging infrastructure.

Charging anxiety is a huge worry outside of Telsa’s Superchargers, and despite Ford’s efforts to improve this, finding on-the-go chargers is a challenge.

But if you’re charging from home, then you’re on to a winner, getting a full charge for $5.

The YouTuber explained he spends very little money on maintenance.

Well, given its intense similarity in shape and design, the Mustang Mach-E does come into competition with the likes of the Tesla vehicles, specifically the Model X.

The YouTuber notes that with Tesla prices falling, the car’s valuer might not be much of a consideration for buyers.

Still, the Model X would be nearly double the cost at the Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price, or MSRP.

If you wanted a similar-priced Tesla, you’re going to have to shave off some size and stature for a Model Y.

Still, insurance is vastly cheaper on a Mustang Mach-E, despite being steeper than a lot of gas cars.

Overall, the Ford Mustang Mach-E is a beauty to drive.

So it can easily be favored over a Tesla when the price is right.
