This company in Idaho has created an incredible apocalypse machine using parts from a Humvee, a VW, and a tractor.
You probably wouldn’t be able to tell just by looking at it because this vehicle looks absurd.
It has three wheels, one of which is somehow also the cabin.
It can crab-walk, too.

The idea behind this incredible apocalypse machine
Grind Hard Plumbing, a group of creators in Idaho, created this one-of-a-kind machine using bits from a Humvee, the military vehicle that inspired the Hummer, a tractor, and a VW diesel engine.
The vehicle has no body panels at all, and no doors.
It basically consists of a chassis with three wheels attached to it, one of which is also the vehicle’s cockpit, with a thin seat and a steering wheel and not much else.

The VW diesel engine that powers it is integrated into the chassis.
The most astonishing feature is the cabin, which is also a wheel.
It is visually impressive, but it’s also incredibly clever.
This is because the wheel turns as you drive along, but the frame inside the wheel obviously doesn’t.
Otherwise it would be quite tricky to drive a vehicle from inside of its wheels.
This is DIY taken to the next level
Some people just can’t help it when the DIY ‘gene’ takes over.
We’ve seen all kinds of modified supercars and luxury cars, usually with mixed results ranging from excellent to debatable or just plain terrible.
From ‘official’ mods from renowned brands such as Liberty Walk to the 6×6 Rolls-Royce made from wood and the DIY Lamborghini Terzo Millennio, it’s clear that everything is possible when people have talent and good ideas.
This odd VW-powered tractor/Humvee is probably the most impressive DIY creation we’ve seen so far.
