In what may be the boldest flex ever, this man drove his $3 million Aston Martin Valkyrie to the grocery store.
Joe Macari, a renowned car collector, took the car out in London for a quick shopping trip.
While his shopping ‘haul’ of a few avocados wasn’t going to break the bank, his choice of car certainly would qualify.
Seeing Macari return to this hypercar with avocados in his hand was a surreal sight, but it was an everyday errand for him.
This $3 million Aston Martin Valkyrie got the job when it came time for a food shop
This is a F1-inspired hypercar designed for the roads, so it’s going to stand out anywhere.
But it was particularly eye-catching in this recent video, filmed on the streets of London.
Sat parked by the curb, the Valkyrie awaited its owner’s return.

When car collector Macari returned to his vehicle, the reason for his trip was evident – he had a few avocados nestled into his arms.
Getting in and out of a Valkyrie is a challenge in normal circumstances, given the low angle at which people need to enter.
So we can imagine getting in while balancing three avocados in one hand didn’t make him feel particularly nimble or graceful.
Regardless, he managed to share a few words for a onlooker who was filming.

“Had some shopping,” he remarked, before buckling himself in and pulling down the door.
The car can then be seen driving off, looking like it had teleported there from the future.
While the video noted the Valkyrie’s speed, this was the car going slow, with it being on a congested street.
Seeing this car at its full potential would be akin to the scene in Back to the Future, where the DeLorean leaves flames behind as it goes into the future.

We’ve seen a lot of epic cars out on the streets of London
The British capital is home to approximately 2.6 million cars, so it’s no wonder that we’ve seen so many gems over the years.
Some are more famous than others – we’ve all been invested in the mystery surrounding that pink McLaren outside that hotel, right?
And some do have an air of controversy around them, like this $330,000 Rolls-Royce that ended up being towed.
But ultimately, there is a strong car culture in the city and that’s been reflected time and time again.
