Aston Martin has announced the return of one of its most iconic nameplates: the Vanquish – and it’s more powerful than ever.

The original Vanquish was launched back in 2001 as a successor to the Virage and became the flagship for the marque.

Now Aston Martin has announced a brand new Vanquish – and it will be the luxury carmaker’s most powerful pure-combustion engine model ever.

The new Vanquish will be stepping in to replace the previous top GT – the DBS – which was retired in 2023.

The all-new Aston Martin Vanquish is simply stunning

As you’d expect from Aston Martin, the Vanquish looks absolutely stunning, with a bold stance and flowing curves.

An increase to the wheelbase has bolstered its profile, while it’s also received an all-new front bumper, fender, and grille design – making it a real head-turner.

The inside is as beautiful as the out, with a bespoke two-person interior, that is ‘focused on delivering enjoyment to the driver and sharing the visceral experience with just one other’.

The interiors blend luxurious materials and craftsmanship with high-end tech, such as a fully digital 10.25-inch TFT driver display.

As you’d expect it packs a punch

And under the hood? Well, brace yourselves as the Vanquish comes with a new 5.2-liter Twin-Turbo V12 which can produce an astonishing 835PS and 1000Nm of torque.

The engine is completely brand new, according to Aston Martin, with ‘nothing carried over’ from the previous V12.

It can hit a top speed of 214mph, making it the fastest Aston Martin production car ever made.

“With the introduction of Vanquish we have crowned Aston Martin’s next-generation sports car portfolio,” said Aston Martin Executive Chairman, Lawrence Stroll.

“A true halo model in every respect, Vanquish makes an emphatic statement. One that further delivers on our mission to create the most potent, most beautiful, and most exciting cars in the ultra-luxury sports car market.

“As such Vanquish is the truest of Aston Martins. Immaculately designed and impeccably engineered it sets extraordinary new standards of performance, style, and luxury for a new generation of connoisseurs.”

The all-new Vanquish is available to order now, with the first deliveries set to arrive early next year.
