A stunning one of five Gordon Murray S1 LM V12 supercar is set to go under the hammer in Las Vegas, but it won’t come cheap.

During Monterey Car Week back in August, Gordon Murray Automotive announced that its newly-launched Special Vehicles division was working on a limited edition vehicle: the S1 LM.

The special-edition pays homage to the 1995 McLaren F1 GTR.

The carmaker said only five will ever be built, and one is set to go up for auction very soon.

A Gordon Murray S1 LM is up for sale, but it’s not going cheap

The S1 LM was launched to mark the 30th anniversary of the Gordon Murray-designed McLaren F1 GTR 1995 Le Mans victory.

The sleek-looking vehicle is powered by a 4.3 liter Cosworth V12 engine that can produce a powerful 700 horsepower at 12,100rpm.

The Gordon Murray S1 LM is also super lightweight, weighing just a little over 2,100 pounds, meaning it will fly around the track.

Power aside, it’s also stunning.

When the car was unveiled, Gordon Murray Automotive confirmed that just five examples would be created, meaning the S1 LM will be as exclusive as it is gorgeous.

And now, the carmaker is giving someone the very special chance to own one of the very special edition cars.

The S1 LM Chassis #1 is set to be sold Las Vegas Grand Prix on November 21, 2025 by RM Sothesby’s.

However, as you might expect, the Gordon Murray S1 LM won’t be going cheap – it has a valuation in excess of $20,000,000.

The lucky buyer will also get a rare ‘once in a lifetime’ opportunity

As well as landing themselves a super rare supercar, the lucky buyer will be given the chance to ‘sit beside Professor Gordon Murray to create their dream specification’.

They will also collaborate directly with chief development test driver and three-time Indianapolis 500 winner, Dario Franchitti. Pretty cool, right?

“The S1 LM Chassis #1 offers a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to collaborate with the original creator and help write automotive history’s next chapter, an experience that is truly priceless,” RM Sotheby’s Global Head of Private Sales Shelby Myers said

And all it will cost you is a $20 million…
