A Californian man will be beaming with the money he is set to make on a Ferrari 458 supercar, despite having driven it for over 1,400 miles.

Currently for sale on Cars and Bids, this amazing-looking supercar is set to go under the hammer, and its lucky owner is looking likely to make a tidy profit on the car.

Back in 205, when this 458 Spider came out, the retail price was around $322,766, so a good chunk of money.

Incredibly, the seller can relax as it has already made more than that, with just a handful of hours left to run at the time of writing.

Why is this Ferrari 458 supercar so desirable?

For whatever reason, the value of this Ferrari 458 seems to have dramatically increased.

This is even though the Maranello manufacturer built 6,000 examples of the 458 from 2009 to 2015.

The first owner of the supercar put just 289 miles on the clock.

Since then, the current owner and seller has added just over 1,000 miles, giving it 1,389 miles on the odometer.

But aside from the low mileage, nothing truly stands out with this 11-year-old supercar.

Yet whoever buys it is still set to have a lot of fun.

Not least because under the hood is a huge 4.5-liter V8 pumping out 562hp and 398lb-ft of torque.

There is also the rapid top speed of 202mph and 0-60mph time of just 3.1 seconds.

The white finish adds to the car’s gravitas

One thing this car does have going for it is the stunning white exterior.

Specifically, it is finished in ‘Bianco Avus’, a color that really lets the lines of the Ferrari pop.

A clean Carfax history report shows no accidents or mileage discrepancies with the Italian supercar.

There are plenty of extras on the car, too, such as its Carbon Fiber Racing Package.

Other highlights include the 20-inch wheels, SCM2 magnetic suspension dampening, and Manettino steering wheel.

So there are a few nice extras with the 458.

All of these came fitted to the car from the factory.

As the auction time ticked down, bidding stood at an impressive $380,000 at the time of writing.
