An incredible 46-car Ferrari collection that belonged to the late collector Phil Bachman is set to go under the hammer.
Bachman developed a love of cars at a young age, and spent 15 years racing, building, and selling go–karts.
At the age of 29, he became the youngest Cadillac dealer in the United States and went on to work in the industry for decades.
Even outside of work, cars played a huge role in his life, with Bachman building a collection of 46 Ferraris, and now the mind-blowing collection is headed to auction.

Phil Bachman built his Ferrari collection over decades
Phil Bachman first came up close to a Ferrari back in 1983 at a car dealers trade show and said a 308 GTS Quattrovalvole ‘struck a chord’ with him.
Just a few days on, he went out and snapped up his very own bright yellow Quattrovalvole.

But Bachman was so enamored with the car that he wasn’t going to stop at buying just one Ferrari.
Over the next four decades, he and his wife Martha amassed one of the world’s biggest and best Ferrari collections.
Inside, there are some incredible and rare prancing horses, including a one-of-30 2006 track-only FXX, a LaFerrari, a 1953 Ferrari 166 MM/53 Vignale Spyder, and not one, but two American-spec 1992 F40s.
There are several vintage vehicles in the collection, alongside the 1953 Vignale Spyder, there’s a 1964 250 GT/L Berlinetta, and a super-rare alloy-bodied 275 GTB/4 dating back to 1967.
There are also more modern supercars, like the 2017 F12tdf, and a 2015 458 Speciale A.
In total, there are 46 cars, with model years spanning 1953 to 2017, and it is truly a one-of-a-kind collection with each car lovingly hand-picked to pay homage to the iconic Italian carmaker.
The collection is pristine and packed with low mileage cars
As you might expect from someone who loved Ferraris as much as Bachman did, the collection is in pristine condition, with even the older models looking like they just left Maranello.

Many of the cars are low-mileage examples, and more than half of them are finished in Bachman’s favored eye-catching yellow.
The 46-strong collection, known as The Bachman Ferrari Collection, is set to cross the auction block with Mecum Auctions during the Kissimmee event in January next year, presenting a rare once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
