Bugatti has announced its ‘new ultra-exclusive program’ of one-of-one cars as it gets ready to unveil a new hypercar this week.
The luxury marque is set to open up a new chapter in its decades-long coachbuilding tradition.
And it’s one that puts the customer firmly in the driving seat.
To mark the new program, Bugatti will unveil a new custom-built model known as the Solitaire.

Bugatti has teased a new ‘ultra-exclusive program’ of one-of-one cars
Like many high-end carmakers, Bugatti already allows an incredible level of customization to its vehicles, just check out the Sur Mesure program.
In fact, Bugatti CEO Mate Rimac once said the average Bugatti buyer spends an additional $500k on customizations.
And it seems the luxury carmaker is keen to lean even further into this by offering complete one-off builds, with a new car to showcase the upcoming program.

“On August 7th, Bugatti unveils the latest chapter in this long lineage of bespoke masterpieces, revealing both a new ultra-exclusive program of one-of-one cars, as well as its first creation,” the company said.
“It’s a celebration of grace and elegance, rooted in the unique artistry and heritage of the Bugatti story, our latest Solitaire.”
For now, the marque is keeping the car strictly under wraps, but it’s clear that whatever Bugatti is cooking up is different from the Tourbillon.
For starters, the teaser images show a different-looking beast, with a wide horseshoe grille finished in aluminum above a carbon fiber splitter.
Meanwhile, the marque has also revealed that the vehicle will be ‘completely unique’.
“Not simply customized, completely unique,” it wrote on Instagram.
“Prepare to reimagine what defines a Bugatti, one singular vision at a time. Every curve sculpted with purpose. Every detail crafted to perfection.”
Sounds exciting, doesn’t it?
Personalization is big business
As well as making it stand out from competitors, offering an unrivaled level of customization and personalization is big business for Bugatti.

Back in 2024, CEO Mate Rimac said customers were happy to part with an average of $500,000 to make their new car their own.
“We have special programs that we do with our customers, so the cars are becoming more and more customized,” he told Top Gear.
“Every car is actually really special. We are currently at half a million euros of customization per car.”
And now with the new program in the works, it seems as though we might be entering a new generation of bespoke Bugatti cars.
