If you own a nice-looking car, you know the pain of returning to it only to have strangers pose with it—however, the C8 Corvette has a feature to stop that in a hilarious way.

Tired of people posing with his car, one YouTuber came up with a simple solution for this problem.

Turns out that the C8 Corvette has a remote ignition feature, and it can also be used to scare off whoever is taking pictures with the car.

Fortunately, he has even made a compilation using some of the best reactions he has got so far.

The C8 Corvette feature that scares people

The YouTuber known as Eidan Sanker has a purple C8 Corvette that he regularly features in his videos.

He is also quite well known for his series of videos called ‘Don’t touch my car.’

As the name suggests, the YouTuber pranks people who try to take photos and touch his car without permission.

He does it by using the remote ignition feature of the C8 Corvette.

However, it seems he has also customized his car to make the ignition even more loud.

It is most likely a custom exhaust that doesn’t muffle the sound completely.

The remote ignition feature in the C8 Corvette works by pushing the lock button twice till you hear a beep.

Then simply press the start icon twice to activate the remote ignition.

What follows is a hilarious reaction as people get scared by the loud noise coming from an empty car.

Some even get so scared that trip over while running away.

It’s natural to see a cool car in a parking lot and want to click pictures with it.

But it’s sort of rude to touch the car without express permission from the owner.

So next time you want to take a picture with a supercar like a C8 Corvete make sure to ask the owner first.
