This man from California bought a Chinese bike on Amazon for $1,600.
Despite its shortcomings, he thought the bike was decent in terms of value.
It wasn’t the first time he had bought a cheap bike from China, so he knew what to expect.
Let’s take a look at this $1,600 bike to see if it’s a waste of money or a good deal.

$1,600 Chinese bike from Amazon
In 2020, Nick MacNeill also known as The Inja on YouTube bought a cheap Chinese bike for a mere $1,600.
He described it as the most average-priced motorcycle on Amazon.
However, this isn’t Macneill’s first rodeo with Chinese vehicles.
He had previously spent $31,000 on an electric sports car from China but received a mini-car instead.
Since he couldn’t refund the car, he made the most out of his purchase by modifying the car.
And this was Macneill’s second time buying a Chinese bike, with the first one costing him $1,500 from Alibaba.
The bike in question is the X-PRO 125cc, which was delivered to his doorstep in a box.
Since the bike came in a box, it required some assembly.
“For $1,600 though I’m pretty impressed,” said Macneill.
“From what I’ve seen it looks like it’s a decent running bike and people are having a lot of fun on it,” he added.
Not without its issues
Unfortunately, as is the case with many cheap Chinese vehicles, the bike also had some issues.
During setup, Macneill found a bent fuel line and a misadjusted clutch and chain.
Despite the cheap build quality, the engine appeared decent for its price.
“This bike really impresses me for the price. Again it was 1660 dollars and some change shipped to my door,” said Macneill.
However, the Chinese bike also had a top speed of 55 mph, so don’t expect to race it down the highway.
