These Canadians modified a Ferrari F12 and decided to take it directly to a Ferrari dealership to see what the opinion about the car was, then received a surprising reaction.

The Canadians had transformed their 2013 Ferrari F12 over four years to a 1,300HP beast with twin turbos that runs on Ignite Red (E90).

Ferrari is very specific about how its cars should be treated and how drivers should never renovate or change their cars from the original design.

The guys took their souped-up Ferrari to an official dealer to face the wrath of the automaker, but when they arrived they got a reaction they weren’t expecting.

Modifying their F12

Ferrari is known for its luxury Italian supercars. But there’s no doubt in any driver’s mind that what you see from the car is what you get. Because Ferrari is against modification in a big way.

It seems that these Canadian YouTubers weren’t aware that this was the case. Or, more likely, ignored this fact and modified their 2013 Ferrari F12 to within an inch of its life.

The team at DailyDrivenExotics is extremely proud of the modded F12, and it has been steadily gaining renown online.

It took the team four years to remodel, turning the supercar into something that can only be described as a ‘beast’ with 1,300HP twin turbos that run on Ignite Red (E90).

That’s a specific fuel for cars with over 500HP, making it incredibly expensive to run.

Now complete, the team thought it was time to bite the bullet and take the F12 home to see what Ferrari really thought of the modified supercar.

So they drove it to a dealership.

The surprising reaction they got at the Ferrari Dealership

The team at Ferrari Newport Beach saw the car and instead of being mad, they actually seemed…impressed.

They really liked the car and, despite initial surprise, described it as a ‘fascinating build’.

The only real Ferrari parts left were the engine block and heads. So it’s no surprise that the dealership acted like they’d never seen anything like it before.

Although the Ferrari dealership employees enjoyed it, they did mention that the people at Maranello HQ would certainly not like it as much.

It seems that returning the modified car to the mothership went well, and it really didn’t matter how far the F12 had strayed.
