Williams Formula 1 driver Carlos Sainz likes to keep his $50 million net worth invested in Ferrari supercars, and not have it sit in the bank.

The former Ferrari driver, who moved to Williams for 2025, has started to see his season turn around, thanks to a podium with his new team in Azerbaijan.

But the F1 star also has a great collection of cars, some of which are from Ferrari, and he has revealed he loves to keep his money invested in them.

That, he feels, is far better than the cash just simply sitting around in a bank doing nothing.

What Ferrari supercars does Carlos Sainz own?

Sainz has recently revealed that he has four limited-edition supercars from Ferrari, and another is on the way.

In a podcast interview earlier in 2025, Sainz revealed he tries to be low-key when driving in public.

But that hasn’t stopped the Formula 1 star from indulging in exotic cars.

An 812 Competizione and Daytona SP3 are just two of the cars in his collection.

The Daytona SP3 even features custom ‘Smooth Operator’ branding, as per Sainz’s catchphrase.

He does like a non-Ferrari, however, and has a Bentley Continental GT in his garage too.

Sainz also has a Purosangue in his collection, Marnello’s first SUV, although officially it is an FUV.

What Sainz drives as his daily driver

Sainz, however, likes to stay humble when driving.

He hates drawing attention to himself and doesn’t want to appear to be showboating.

Thus, when he is driving on the roads regularly, he ventures out in a Volkswagen Golf GTI.

This is also the same Golf his parents gave him when he was 18.

You can’t help but respect that from Sainz, who would have every right to draw attention to himself.

Sainz has won four Grand Prix for Ferrari and taken Williams’ first podium since 2021.

This was thanks to his third-place finish in Azerbaijan.

However, he has clearly chosen to remain humble and down-to-earth about his success.

He has, though, chosen wisely to invest his money in his supercar collection.

Who knows how much all those cars could be worth in the future!
