An American YouTuber fixing a McLaren 650S supercar with parts from Temu has fixed one of its biggest problems, but there are still some issues.
YouTuber The Inja has been rebuilding this wrecked McLaren 650S Spider for over a year after buying it for $38,500 from Copart.
He has made significant progress over that period, which has included adding a new engine and buying a body from Temu.
However, there are still several issues to solve before the car is ready to go on the road again.

The YouTuber has fixed a big issue with the 650S Spider
One of the biggest issues so far has been with the Steering Angle Sensor (SAS).
This issue has plagued the supercar for some time.
The Inja has said it is holding the project back
Had he not fixed it in the video, he was looking at a wait of eight months for a new sensor.
Having adjusted the steering angle gear, the YouTuber then adjusted the right-hand gear on the wheel and adjusted the steering rate.
The YouTuber figured out that the sensor had to be centered somewhere.
Setting it to its maximum value caused a myriad of problems.
A bit of trial and error was involved, but thankfully for the YouTuber, he managed to fix the sensor.
There are still issues with the McLaren
Despite fixing the problem with the steering sensor, there was still a problem with the supercar.
That was with the hydraulic system.
The McLaren was guzzling up the fluid and the YouTuber had no idea why.
The Inja noticed something was amiss after losing power steering during his test drive of the car.
Having found a small leak, the YouTuber fixed that and replenished the system.
The Inja was relieved to see it was no longer a problem.

That enabled him to go out for another drive in the car, this time for longer.
The test drive showed off the excellent progress he has made with the McLaren.
Future videos should finally see The Inja finish this project and become the proud owner of one of the cheapest McLaren 650S’s money can buy.
