This Chevrolet Corvette Stingray went full throttle on the Autobahn and hit top speed – but thankfully in a safe, legal way.
The Autobahn in Germany enabled the Chevy to reach high speeds and output serious levels of torque, safely.
It’s a milestone in car history, but the Corvette Stingray sheds a whole other light on the car brand.
Plus, when you see the Stingray in action, you’ll be envious of the Autobahn ride.

This Chevrolet Corvette Stingray went full throttle on the Autobahn
The Autobahn is arguably the world’s most famous road, most well-known for being every racer’s dream journey, and to really make use of the unique conditions of the German highway, one driver decided to take a Chevrolet Corvette Stingray for a spin.
The car comes from an impressive lineup facilitated by Chevrolet, and the Stingray lays testament to Chevy’s need for speed.

The 2025 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray was pushed to its limits in a clever legal way, as the Autobahn has no rigid speed limit.
The test unfolded on the AutoTopNL channel, and it’s safe to say it was an epic turn of events.

The Chevrolet Corvette Stingray managed to hit some serious levels of speeds too, with over 282 km/h achieved on the Autobahn and jumping from 0-60 in just 2.9 seconds.
Chevrolet states that the car has a top track speed of 194 mph and an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission, which helped the car to achieve top speeds in a legal way.
It is important to note that although it looks fun, this kind of racing can be dangerous and isn’t advised.

The Chevrolet Corvette is a staple in car history
The Stingray was the first hit the car scene in January 1953 at an exhibit at the Waldorf Astoria with the first Corvette in production built in June of the same year.
It’s not hard to see why the car is loved by gearheads, either, with many people buying wrecked models to give them a new lease of life.
For example, one car enthusiast from Georgia turned a wrecked C7 into a ‘Mad Max’ monster that was able to throw flames.
Plus, we can’t forget the time that one man brought his childhood Corvette bed to life by turning it into a 130hp go-kart – talk about dreaming big.
