Doorbell footage captures Chevrolet SUV and more withstanding 5.2 magnitude earthquake
California is one of the world’s most sought-after places to live.
But the state is affected by many natural disasters and cars are therefore forced to withstand tough conditions.
Recently, one doorbell camera captured the moment that a 5.2 magnitude quake hit, and revealed how a Chevrolet SUV and other cars were built to withstand it.

Following the recent earthquake in San Diego, California, on April 14, TikTok user melodyxgreen posted footage from her camera.
While the earth shook, the Chevy parked on the driveway didn’t budge or even rattle.
Instead, the suspension handled the movement with ease.
“Buy a Chevy! Got it! Didn’t even move, that’s stability,” one impressed viewer said.
The Chevrolet SUV range has recently been touted as an American hero thanks to a new groundbreaking feature.

The 5.2 magnitude was the biggest quake in California in three years.
The city sustained minimal damage, but the quake did cause a fair bit of stress for animals including a herd of elephants at the San Diego Zoo seen huddling up to protect each other.
Cars in California have, unfortunately, become accustomed to facing natural disasters, but even the most unexpected classic vehicles have withstood recent horrors.
