This man bought a Chevy Corvette for $220,000 and sold it for a $69,000 profit.
The 2026 ZR1 is a powerful beast, producing more than 1000hp. But this specific model is even more powerful, as it was decked out with additional performance packages.
Despite all this, the owner decided it wasn’t the car for him and listed it soon after buying it.
As it turns out, this decision was a smart one and led to him making an eye-watering profit.

The Chevy Corvette ZR1 is a desirable car
This 2026 ZR1 burst onto the scene this year and there was huge demand for it.
This particular owner spent $220,000 on his Corvette ZR1, ensuring it had all the bells and whistles.
It was equipped with a 5.5-liter LT7 V8 engine capable of 1,064 horsepower and hosted the ZTK Performance Track Package and the ZR1 Carbon Fiber Aero Package.
All in all, the unique add-ons came to an additional $27,350 – showing that the Corvette really meant business.

There are a few reasons this car is so powerful.
The real power lies with the twin turbochargers, which assist the car by adding a boost of 20psi with an extra helping hand from the performance exhaust, altogether pumping out a mighty level of 828 pound-feet of torque.
The Chevy Corvette was delivered with blue accents, Edge Blue 20-spoke forged aluminum wheels, and brake calipers to be exact.

Inside the cabin, the bucket seats and seatbelts were finished in Santorini Blue.
But all this didn’t go a long way to convince its owner it was the car for him and he put it up for sale.
He sold it for a huge profit
When the car was listed on Bring a Trailer, it attracted a lot of attention.

After the final bid was placed, the car ended up selling for a mighty $290,000.
This means the owner made $69,000 in profit.
So, even though the previous owner’s love affair ended prematurely, he still managed to make enough to put down a deposit on a new home.
