Can you take the risk of buying an expensive car like a crashed BMW i8 and try to fix it without any prior experience?

That’s exactly what Vlad Biaheza decided to do.

Inspired by YouTube videos showing people buying and fixing cars for profit, he took the leap into the world of car repairs.

However, he had zero experience, making this story an amusing one.

YouTuber fixed a crashed BMW i8 without any experience

To start with, Vlad always admired the BMW i8 – from its design to its features, everything allured him.

So, despite its high price tag and controversial reputation for being impractical, Vlad, who goes by the name Biaheza on YouTube, saw it as an opportunity.

However, with no prior knowledge of car repairs, he was skeptical about whether he could handle such a complex project.

Still, the allure of the car’s design and potential profit motivated him to give it a shot.

This story is reminiscent of the teenager who purchased a wrecked Tesla Model 3 to fix it, despite having no idea how to carry out the repairs.

The YouTuber set his budget and started looking for an ideal car.

After searching through insurance auction sites, he found a BMW i8 with only 28,000 miles and a clean, appealing spec.

The car was relatively low mileage and didn’t seem as badly damaged as some others on sale.

It was time to participate in the auction which Vlad won, and the car cost him around $22,280 with all the costs included.

To save any further expense, he chose to personally transport the car using a U-Haul trailer instead of hiring a professional.

The car finally started to his surprise

Soon, he realized that the car was more messed up than it looked on the outside.

The car had trouble starting due to a dead battery, causing the doors to fail to latch.

Vlad found the damage far worse than expected – headlights, bumper, hood, fenders, and more needed replacement.

However, despite the hurdles, Vlad tacked all the problems one by one, and finally the car started, making it a successful project.
