One Australian couple’s romantic walk along the beach turned into a surprise car find.
Get this – the car was buried beneath the sand.
Kylah and Tim Chapman were out celebrating their first wedding anniversary when they made the incredible discovery.
It was on a Queensland beach that they would see a piece of metal sticking out of the sand.

What was buried on the beach?
Once they received that the metal couldn’t be picked up, the couple realized that it was attached to something bigger hidden beneath the surface.
As reported by Motorious, Tim said: “We love fossicking and searching for treasure — it’s our thing.
“It just got better and better the deeper we dug.”
Walks on the beach can uncover some great gems, like this woman who found a piece of ancient history.
After retrieving some tools from home, the couple began digging until they started to uncover a car.
A older couple passed by at one point and observed that the vehicle looked like it had been made before World War Two.
They deduced this based on the car’s engine and the spark plugs sticking out the front.
As it currently stands, this classic car has not yet been identified.
Beach cars are nothing new
The most likely explanation for how this car ended up buried is that tides caused the tires to begin sinking.
It likely would have been too much hassle for the previous owners to retrieve it after this point, so it was left submerged for close to a century.
This isn’t the first time that a car has been discovered on the beach.
Admittedly, most are found on the ground level.
A silver Hyundai left locals baffled when it was found on Sydney’s Balmoral beach.
What is it with Australians and cars on the beach?
We get it’s great beach weather down there, but this is a bit much.
