Cybertruck-inspired casket costs the same as a Rolex

This is the Hypercasket, a literal casket inspired by the Cybertruck.

It’s made from stainless steel, and it looks a lot like Musk’s truck.

It even has a seatbelt…for some reason.

The Hypercasket is made by a company called Titan Casket.

Even though the inspiration does come from the Cybertruck, the company has no affiliation with Tesla at all.

This probably explains why they called it the ‘Hyper’ casket, instead of ‘Cyber’ casket.

Similarities between the Cybertruck and Hypercasket

Just like Tesla’s Cybertruck, the Hypercasket is made from stainless steel with raw stainless steel finish.

The iconic Cybertruck shape is unmistakable, and the interior of the casket features vegan leather, just like most Teslas, including the Cybertruck.

In a way, there are also similarities between the MSRP of the Cybertruck and the casket.

The Hypercasket costs $9,999, which is basically the same as a brand new Rolex, but not quite $10,000.

More to the point, that is not exactly average for a casket, just like the Cybertruck isn’t exactly cheap for a truck, even when you only consider the MSRP and not the wild resale prices.

The icing on the cake comes from the $250 deposit for the pre-order, which is also something Tesla does all the time.

The latest addition to a long list of Cybertruck-inspired things

The Cybertruck was originally announced in 2019 and since then, we’ve seen all kinds of Cybertruck-inspired things, some sold by Tesla, but most sold by other companies.

Not long ago, a company that specializes in high-end smartphones unveiled a Samsung S24 that clearly draws its inspiration from Cybertruck.

We’ve also seen a plethora of accessories for Cybertruck that are inspired by the truck itself, such as the ‘Cybertrailer’.

But if we had to pick one, the Cyber Spoon, would take the crown.

This is a spoon designed by McDonald’s in partnership with Tesla, sold as an official McDonald’s-Tesla product in China.

The bad news, if you’re a Tesla fan, is this was only ever available in China and nowhere else.

That’s a Cyber-pity.
