This Dodge Demon owner got pulled over by a cop, but then the unexpected happened.
The video doesn’t reveal why he got pulled over, but what we do know is that the cop seemed to be mostly interested in his car.
Honestly? It’s not hard to see why.
His reaction when the owner popped the hood open said it all.

The cop was particularly impressed with the hood pins
This sort of thing doesn’t happen often.
Occasionally, cops are just interested in cool cars driven by the people they pull over, and they want to know more.
That’s what happened in the case below.
We’re not sure why this guy got pulled over, but in the end, the cop was mostly interested in the car.
Specifically, he was interested in the hood pins that keep the hood shut, which is a (super cool) signature feature of the Dodge Demon customized by Mopar.

Cops don’t spend their entire shifts pulling over cars they think are cool, obviously, but it’s something that happens a lot more often than you’d think.
It apparently happens relatively often in Italy.
Not long ago, Italian cops pulled over a Ferrari in Italy just to tell the driver how cool the car was.
There’s a reason why they call it the Demon

The Demon is the most extreme iteration of the Dodge Challenger.
It’s fitted with the same 6.2-liter V8 as other Challengers, but it also uses a 2.7-liter supercharger, for a grand total of 808 horsepower with 91 octane gasoline or 840 horsepower with 100 octane.
All Demons do 0-60mph in 2 seconds or less, but the Demon 170 does even better, mostly because it’s even more powerful
It produces 900 horsepower on regular fuel, or 1,025 on E85 ethanol fuel, and it is faster than the Rimac Nevera.
That’s even more impressive when we remember that the Demon starts at just under $100,000.
It’s not cheap, but you get a lot of bang for your buck.
