A supercar drag race with a combined $11 million cost between a Pagani Huayra Roadster BC and a Ferrari Daytona SP3 ended in an amazing landslide.

Carwow and Mat Watson took the two supercars to the Tilal Swaihan drag strip in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi, to see which was the fastest.

Both cars are very impressive, with them having around 800hp and as many weight-saving measures as possible.

While you might expect quite a close race, as the YouTube video revealed, the results ended up being very one-sided.

The two supercar giants compare well against each other.

The two supercars are not massively different from each other.

The Ferrari Daytona SP3 has a 6.5-liter V12 with 828hp and 514lb-ft of torque, weighing 3,257lbs.

Meanwhile, the Pagani Huayra Roadster BC has a twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter Mercedes-AMG engine.

This produces 791hp and 774lb-ft of torque.

So, more power in the Ferrari, but also a lot more torque in the Pagani.

The Ferrari also has a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, compared to the seven-speed auto for the Pagani.

The first race with Carwow was a failure, as the Huayra failed to engage launch control.

In the second race, the Ferrari won again, with the Daytona SP3 roaring away as the Pagani struggled with traction.

Yet the last standing-start race, despite being better for the Pagani, was still a win for the Daytona.

It easily drove off into the distance, making it three out of three for the fabled Italian supercar.

The Huayra struggled to hold its own against the Ferrari

The fastest 1/4 mile time for the Daytona SP3 was 10.6 seconds compared to the 11.2 seconds for the Huayra.

Next up came a 1/2 mile drag race, but from a rolling start.

However, any hopes the Pagani had of winning this were quickly dashed.

The Daytona SP3 demolished the Huayra, despite the Pagani having a lot more torque than its rival.

That made it a clean sweep for the Ferrari, and a very one-sided set of results.

Those results may have gone against a lot of people’s expectations.

Given how good the Daytona SP3 is, though, we shouldn’t be surprised at how easily it beat the Pagani.
