British guys do something 'dumb' and drive American cars on the UK roads, come to surprising conclusion

These British guys did something ‘dumb’ and got their hands on the most American cars they could drive on UK roads, a Dodge Challenger Hellcat and a C6 Corvette 427 Convertible – and the results are ridiculous.

Both the muscle cars are loud in both sound and their bright paint colors, and seemingly too big for narrow British roads.

The two guys describe the sound of the convertible with the roof down as ‘petrifyingly loud and intoxicating’, and think that the muscle cars are so dramatic and overpowered for a country like the UK.

However, it starts to become clear that the guys’ opinions were beginning to shift, and finally, at the end of their all-American driving session, they come to a surprising conclusion.

Can you think of two more American cars than a Dodge Challenger Hellcat and a C6 Corvette 427 Convertible?

These two British YouTubers from Top Dead Center decided to make a ‘dumb’ decision and test these incredibly American muscle cars on thin UK roads.

The two muscle cars seem garish and outlandish in the world of sensible, narrow hatchbacks, and even the bright orange paint color stands out on the roads of the UK.

The Hellcat boasts a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine producing 717 horsepower, and it features cartoonish styling and the most absurd tire sizing they’ve ever seen.

The Corvette is a rare 60th manual Anniversary edition with a seven-liter engine and a ProCharger supercharger, pushing horsepower to well over 700.

While they drove the muscle cars on the narrow British roads, you could feel the YouTuber’s hearts begin to soften about the driving experience.

Yes, the cars are loud, brash, and dramatic, but they’re also so much fun to drive and draw attention wherever they go.

The British stiff upper lip begins to crumble, and by the end of the experience, the two YouTubers can’t help but admit that maybe the American muscle car is stupid, yes, but that’s what makes it so fun.

The two YouTubers can’t even decide which of the Hellcat and the convertible is a better drive, but they both know that this is the most fun they’ve had in a long time.
