Landing a plane on a runway is one thing. Landing one on an 88-foot-wide helipad, 56 stories in the sky, is another level of madness.
That’s exactly what Red Bull pilot Luke Czepiela set out to do on the iconic Burj Al Arab hotel in Dubai.
After multiple practice runs and two failed attempts, he finally nailed the landing in a stripped-down CubCrafters plane.
He needed just 68 feet to stop, making history on a spot usually reserved for helicopters.
