In a bid to see how our fake Chinese Ram off-road vehicle stands up against the real deal, we rolled out the brick test and the results are surprising.

We paid just £3,500 for this fake Chinese Ram, and have been putting it through an exhibition of challenges against its true American counterpart.

Our previous experience with these Chinese mock-ups hasn’t seen them live up to their authentic blueprint.

However, the brick test – it really is as simple as it sounds – is the latest trial that the Ram has undertaken, and we were left shocked at the advancement of the Chinese dupe market.
