There’s a bright pink McLaren 570S that’s been sitting outside St Pancras Renaissance Hotel in London for over four years.
Since 2020, the car has been sitting parked outside the hotel.
As far as anyone can tell, it hasn’t moved an inch in four years.
The mystery has been solved, but the car is still there.

How it started
The car first went viral when a TikToker called Gabby, shared a video of the McLaren.
“When will this pink car move? This car has been here the whole pandemic,” the caption read.
After that, several London residents and tourists realized they hadn’t been dreaming or imagining things and the car was indeed still there.
“Wait. It’s still there? I walked past this like seven months ago,” one person asked.
“I live in Oxford and whenever I come to London, [I see] this car,” another person wrote.
The reason why the pink McLaren isn’t going anywhere
A while back, we discovered why the car is still there.
After the TikTok video went viral, somebody took to the comment sections to explain the mystery behind the car.
“I actually work at the St Pancras Renaissance Hotel, the McLaren is owned by one guest who permanently moved into the hotel near the start of the pandemic because he was having trouble getting back to his country,” this person asked.
The identity of the owner wasn’t disclosed, obviously, but the story was then confirmed by UK newspaper Metro.
“It belongs to a man who is renting one of the apartments upstairs,” the St Pancras employee told the newspaper.
We don’t even want to imagine what this person must be paying for that apartment.
Then again, extremely wealthy people do this sort of thing sometimes.
