Fascinating new Chinese EV that's as quick as a Bugatti Chiron could mark the end of Tesla dominance

In past years, it felt like when discussing EVs, there was only Tesla on everyone’s lips. However, a new player has emerged, and this fascinating new Chinese EV could finally mark the end of Tesla’s dominance.

It seems that this Chinese EV manufacturer has announced the release of a new car that is not only cheaper than a Tesla but also puts out an astonishing amount of horsepower.

The investment by China as a country into affordable homegrown technology has meant that Chinese EVs are driving hot on the heels of American dominance.

It’s a win-win when you get a cheaper EV that’s as fast as a Bugatti Chiron that also comes with an incredible charging range – Tesla better watch its back.

This new Chinese EV is putting Tesla to shame

Tesla has dominated the EV market for many years, but it looks like it’ll soon be outpaced by a surprising Chinese challenger.

Build Your Dreams, or as it’s most commonly known, BYD is coming for the American automaker’s crown, because it’s consistently creating faster, cheaper, and revolutionary EVs – and it’s beginning to show.

BYD’s latest offering, the Han L, is as fast as a supercar, with twin-engines and an insane charging range, plus it only costs around $40,000 which is incredibly cheap compared to a Model Y or a Chevy Equinox.

As fast as a Bugatti Chiron

Despite being electric, this EV can truly book it, it produces a whopping 1,086 horsepower, it runs on two engines, and has good traction on all four wheels.

The Han L can reach 60 miles an hour in just 2.7 seconds, similar to the Bugatti Chiron and unlike a classic Tesla, the battery can be charged to 100 percent in just 24 minutes.

It sounds kind of like the dream electric vehicle and it doesn’t come with a high price tag.

Tesla better watch out, because BYD is coming whether it likes it or not, and it’s time to evolve or go bust.
