A grandad broke the world record for the fastest shed ever, after hitting speeds that you would expect a Lamborghini to achieve.
Brian Cade from Witney in the UK built the incredible shed specifically to fit around a car, creating a really unusual vehicle that packed a lot of speed.
Wanting to find out how fast it could go, Brian took it to an airfield in the UK so he could really put his foot down.
He achieved some impressive speeds and was able to break the world record for the fastest shed ever.

How fast did the shed go?
In previous attempts, Cade had gotten his creation up to 96mph.
However, as his clutch broke, he wasn’t able to take the strange car to a more Lamborghini-like speed.
However, that didn’t stop him from fixing the car and going for the world record again.
Under the hood of the car is a 4.5-liter V8 engine that produces 360hp.

Cade had to add a racing clutch so it could handle the power.
Aerodynamics also played a part in the design.
Wood is the primary construction material used in the manufacture of sheds.
Cade didn’t have a working speedo on his record run.
However, he did manage to reach a speed of 123mph, setting a new world record.
The fastest shed is now a world record holder
Given the speeds of the car, a few extra features were needed to make it safer.
A full racing harness is fitted inside, similar to what a racing car would have.
‘Ed the Shed’, as it has been called, also comes with its very own crash helmet.
It has a pig design, with Cade saying inspiration came from the children’s tale of The Three Little Pigs.
Cade said he told his grandkids that ‘Ed the Shed’ was built to get away from the big bad wolf.
With a record speed of 123mph, you certainly would be able to achieve that!
Having the fastest shed in the world is an unusual record to hold.
But it also looks like a lot of fun, and it’s not every day that you’d see something like this roar past you on the highway!
