This 10-year-old kid received a birthday present a bit bigger than the usual Lego set – a rare $1.6 million Ferrari 599 GTO.
It was Jean, the son of car enthusiast and businessman Jeroen van den Berg, who got so lucky.
Getting a one-of-599 Ferrari is certainly one way to ring in your 10th year of life.
But for Jean, this isn’t even his first car, believe it or not.
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen a kid who loves cars
While driving remains legally an adult activity, that doesn’t mean kids can’t start early with their love of cars.
With headlines proclaiming that Gen Z kids are too scared to pump gas, it’s worth remembering that plenty are chomping at the bit to be around cars.
Some kids take things a step further and actually get behind the steering wheel before they’ve hit double digits, as one six-year-old did with a Rolls-Royce.

And that’s not forgetting that this same kid has also driven a Lamborghini Revuelto.
Admittedly, that’s a rather exceptional case.
For Jean, the son of car enthusiast Jeroen van den Berg, he’s going to have wait a little while longer before he can put the pedal to the metal.
A $1.6 million Ferrari 599 GTO is not your standard 10th birthday present
You only turn 10 once, right?
So you might as well have a birthday present to remember.
For most people, that would be a new gaming console or an ultra-expensive Lego set.
But for Jean, he got something a whole lot bigger than that – a $1.6 million Ferrari 599 GTO.
His dad, Jeroen, is a verified car enthusiast, so it figures that this interest would run in the family.
To make the gift even more special, Jean’s friend dressed up as a cars salesman to hand over the keys, Luxurylaunches reports.
But believe it or not, this isn’t even Jean’s first Ferrari.
This kid may only be 10, but he already has two Ferraris
Earlier in his life, Jean took ownership of a tailor made 488 Spider.
Yes, you read that right.

He’s only just turned 10 and he already two more Ferraris than many people could ever hope to possess.
Talk about a happy birthday.
There’s no chance of this Ferrari being lost underneath a bed or forgotten about.
By the time Jean turns 18 – the age for independent driving in the Netherlands – he’ll have two Ferraris waiting for him.
Who among us can say that?
