A floating helipad in Miami allows helicopter users to land in the middle of the sea.

If you have ever thought to yourself, ‘I wish I had the option to land my helicopter in the water,’ then you are doing well in life, well done.

Also, it turns out your wish has been granted.

A Helipad with a difference

ILandMiami are the company behind this innovative creation and is selling the helipads at a starting price of $250,000.

By way of comparison, this jet shark submarine is going for a similar price – but it probably isn’t as high class as a helipad, admittedly.

In addition to creating the floating helipads, they offer a VIP transportation service.

Once the helicopter lands on the helipad, a Van Dutch Tender arrives to whisk away the passengers to their destination of choice – restaurant, hotel, or – for the very fortunate – waterfront home.

During the last mile of the journey inland, an exclusive concierge service is offered.

If you’re feeling like spending some cash, you could even buy your very own custom floating helipad for personal use.

A closer look at ILand Miami

On their website, ILandMiami described their mission as such: “ILandMiami is designing solutions for now and for the future on the water.

“As the frontrunner in this market, ILandMiami has designed concept models for UAV, VTOL partners and for urban air mobility ventures.

“And now, you will have the opportunity to experience this for yourself with a landing by helicopter on one of our MUV™s strategically placed throughout the bay in Miami.”

Some people show their wealth by getting a fancy car or an expensive watch.

Others take a flight to the middle of the bay of Miami just to make it to dinner.

It’s hardly the first time a helipad has been used in an extravagant way.

This yacht has a helipad that can transform into a nightclub dance floor at night.

Not to be outdone, this superyacht comes with two landing pads and its own submarine that costs millions to refill.

As if having a normal one was so last year or something.
