This road sign at a Florida intersection is being blamed for several road rage incidents.
As far as we know you can’t get into heated arguments with inanimate objects.
But it seems that the new sign is a cause for many altercations between drivers.
The sign in question simply states, ‘No Turn On Red’.

Road sign blamed for road rage incidents
According to a local news station WPTV, the intersection where the city of Jupiter installed the sign is at a railroad crossing.
Those types of intersections can be incredibly dangerous.
So the sign was meant to keep cars from stopping on the tracks.
There’s one more sign that also clearly states, “do not stop on tracks.”
Despite so many warning signs, it seems quite a lot of drivers are ignoring them.
Some counties in Texas have already tackled this problem by developing new types of intersections to keep the roads safer.
And maybe that’s something this town in Florida should consider, because this crossing is making drivers angry.
Florida intersection disputes
When asked why the crossing was making them angry, some answered saying the signs were unnecessary and annoying.
Others quite clearly disagreed, saying the signs were imperative, especially because the intersection had seen many close calls.
So it seems these two groups have been at odds with each other.
And it’s leading to quite a few road rage incidents because some are adhering to the signs while others aren’t.
As a result, some motorists are overtaking people who are stopped at the signs.
Funnily enough, this behavior is not just limited to humans as Tesla’s Full Self-Driving was also seen casually sneaking to the front of a lengthy turn queue.
Hopefully the city of Jupiter, Florida can find a better solution for this intersection.
