This Ford Fusion ST features a Fiesta ST engine – a complete engine swap – and aims to become the fastest family car on the road.

The build was done by JackMcNeillCars, who took a modest 79-horsepower Fusion and gave it new life.

The builder saw untapped potential and decided to reengineer the car from the inside out.

The result is a machine that blends everyday usability with genuine performance.

Fiesta ST engine unlocks real power

The engine at the heart of the build is a 150-horsepower Ford Fiesta ST engine.

This engine swap required parts from the donor car including the ECU, wiring loom, driveshafts, and fuel system.

All components were integrated cleanly into the Ford Fusion ST without cutting corners.

JackMcNeillCars ensured everything worked as one complete unit with factory reliability.

This Ford Fusion ST is no ordinary family runabout

The Ford Fusion ST now hits 0 to 60 in 7.8 seconds thanks to the Fiesta ST engine.

That’s nearly twice as fast as the original time of 15.4 seconds.

Throttle response is instant, and the driving experience is far sharper than any factory Fusion.

The car retains its family usability while embracing proper performance.

The fastest family car that Ford never made

This build might not be the official fastest family car, but it is one of the most ambitious.

JackMcNeillCars filled a gap in Ford’s lineup by creating the Fusion ST that never existed.

The combination of practicality and power from the Fiesta ST engine makes it unique.

The engine swap transformed it from average to extraordinary.

The Ford Fusion ST by JackMcNeillCars is a standout example of what’s possible with smart engineering.

By choosing a Fiesta ST engine and executing a clean engine swap, he built something entirely new.

It performs well, drives hard, and still fits the whole family.

This might not be a factory performance car, but it proves one can be built from scratch.
