The Ford Mustang GTD is an extremely special, upcoming supercar.

In fact, it’ll be the fastest Mustang ever produced by the iconic brand.

A famous buyer has unveiled details of the exclusive configurator for the new supercar.

And it’s interesting to say the least.

The most powerful Mustang ever

In August of 2023, Ford, maker of some of the world’s best-loved cars, unveiled something pretty special.

In fact, they announced the Blue Oval brand announced the Mustang GTD.

The GTD is the street-legal version of Ford’s GT3 racing car.

Jim Farley, the brand’s CEO, has claimed that this supercar has the elite of the elite in its crosshairs.

Specifically, this beast of a car is out to target the Porsche 911 GT3 RS, as well as the Mercedes AMG GT Black Series.

So, what exactly has Ford brought to the party to back up these…big claims?

For one thing, the new Mustang GTD is powered by a 5.2-liter V8 “Predator” engine, producing 815HP.

If that wasn’t enough, the Mustang GTD has a top speed of 202MPH.

Impressed yet? You probably should be at this point.

Ford has behind-closed-doors configurator for buyers

Interestingly, Ford decided to hold a private configurator for Mustang GTD buyers.

However, one of them, a man named Manny Khoshbin, uploaded a YouTube video detailing the options.

Straight off the bat, it’s important to note that the Mustang GTD will not come cheap.

The “base” model comes in at a whopping $325,000 – ouch.

One of the most impressive options we know of is the Performance Package.

This comes with a DRS-style rear wing, as well as a carbon fiber splitter and diffuser.

As standard, the new supercar is available in just six color options.

However, Ford will offer a paint-to-sample customization option, allowing thousands of color options to be explored.

This comes with an extra fee on top of the $325,000, of course.

Interestingly, the company offers two separate GTD packages – the ‘Spirit of America’ and the ‘Carbon Series.’

These are priced at a whopping $429,000 and $428,000, respectively.

And they’ve already sold out for 2025.

We’ll be honest – we absolutely would have one of these if we had the money lying around, too.
