You know how people will tell you that you couldn’t pay them to change to something different?

Well, Ford has decided to take that challenge literally.

The carmaker has decided to offer a massive incentive to Tesla owners to switch brands.

And it appears to be a very tempting offer.

Ford Mustang Mach-E proving very popular

Here at Supercar Blondie, we covered the roaring success of the electrified Mustang.

The EV car is now the best-selling Mustang, with Ford having sold 51,745 Mach-E Mustangs in the US in 2024.

To give you some context, Ford only sold 44,003 traditional Mustangs in the same year.

Clearly, Ford has hit on a very successful formula with its new Mach-E Mustang.

The SUV market in the U.S. has always been extremely active, but it appears to be taking off on another level.

And now, the Blue Oval brand is going after its biggest EV rivals.

Ford taking the fight to Tesla

The 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E is substantially cheaper than last year’s model.

In fact, it is $3,500 cheaper than the 2024 version, coming in at $36,995.

And the carmaker is far from done with its pricing reductions.

The company recently announced the Tesla Competitive Conquest Bonus Cash discount.

This is a $1,000 cash incentive, and it’s applicable to both purchases and leases.

The offer also applies to the F-150 Lightning, the brand’s all-electric pickup truck.

Ford’s competitive conquest details

If you own a 2008 or newer Tesla, then you are very much in luck.

Tesla owners don’t even need to trade in their Tesla cars – they just need to be able to provide proof of ownership.

What makes this offer so competitive is the fact that the $1,000 incentive can be used alongside Ford’s other active promotions.

The company currently runs a Power Promise promotion, whereby it will add a complimentary Charge Station Pro, along with the fitting.

If you can’t fit a charger where you live, Ford will offer you another $1,000 in cash instead.

Not bad, right?

Want an F-150 Lightning? Now is the time

The good news keeps on coming if you’re eyeing up the company’s F-150 Lightning.

There is an additional $4,000 Retail Bonus Cash offer with the purchase of an F-150 Lightning.

So, if you combine all of the available offers, and assume that you can’t fit a charger in your house, then you’re already saving a grand total of $6,000 to switch over from Tesla.

There’s just one downside – if the Lightning catches your fancy, then these offers only apply to the outgoing MY2024 model; they don’t apply to the latest, updated MY2025 version.

Be quick, though because the Competitive Conquest Bonus Cash is only available until March 31st.

If any of you needed an excuse to visit your local dealership, now you have one.
