There’s nothing as classy as this new $1,700,000 Mercedes G-Wagen, which more than justifies its price tag with genuine diamond-infused paint.
There are luxury SUVs, and then there’s this. Polish design house, Carlex Design, has just unveiled a one-of-a-kind Mercedes-AMG G 63, called the Himalaya Diamond.
Priced at an eye-watering $1.7 million, it’s far more than just another customized G-Wagen.
This piece of art on wheels features a genuine diamond-infused paint job, making it one of the most extravagant SUVs ever built.

This $1,700,000 G-Wagen has genuine diamond-infused paint
Carlex has created what it calls the Himalaya Diamond, a one-of-one G-Wagen designed to elevate the already iconic Mercedes-AMG G 63 into the world of fine art supercars and collectables.
The standout feature is its paintwork – an intricate and hand-applied finish that incorporates actual diamond dust into its sparkling surface.
This process gives the G-Wagen a shimmering and magical sparkle that changes with the light, unlike anything you’ll find in a typical metallic or pearlescent paint job.

You won’t see this anywhere else – ever
The Himalaya Diamond is part of Carlex’s ultra-exclusive Himalaya Collection, which spans just seven bespoke SUVs.
But this example is the only one in existence, giving it a level of exclusivity few cars can rival.
It has a two-tone white and brown finish, retro-inspired wheels, and a unique bodywork that instantly sets it apart from anything you’ve ever seen, while paying homage to the G-Wagen’s rugged background.

Inside, the extravagance continues, as the cabin is finished in rare ‘Himalaya leather’ – a material typically reserved for the most expensive fashion accessories.
While the exterior and interior are bespoke, performance remains true to the stock Mercedes-AMG G 63. Carlex hasn’t touched the mechanics; the focus is on beauty, rarity, and craftsmanship.
This sparkly superstar is going to make a pretty big dent in your wallet, but you’ll probably be too dazzled to notice.
