The superyacht Rocinante, owned by Gabe Newell, is officially looking for a new captain.
The gaming billionaire, best known as the co-founder of Valve, is trimming his fleet as his jaw-dropping 363-foot Leviathan takes center stage.
But Rocinante is no hand-me-down dinghy.
At 258 feet long, this Lürssen-built beauty is a full-blown luxury mothership with serious pedigree.

Looking for a new owner with deep pockets
Gabe Newell has done this before.
His former support vessel Dapple was sold for $30 million to Mark Zuckerberg, later renamed Wingman and now known as Kalm under a different owner.
Rocinante is the next chapter in that fleet turnover, only this time the scale is even grander.
Now listed for just under $106 million with Y.CO and set to appear at the Palm Beach International Boat Show 2026, she is ready for her next ultra-wealthy owner.
Built in 2008, the yacht just completed a massive 10-month refit in 2024 that included a new bridge, full repaint, and major technical and guest-area upgrades.

She also passed both her 10-year and 15-year classification surveys under Newell’s ownership, which is the yachting equivalent of a spotless service record.
Design-wise, Rocinante brings serious star power.
Her sleek exterior lines come from Espen Oeino International, which is the same company that built this Star Wars-inspired yacht, while the interiors were crafted by the legendary Alberto Pinto.
She measures in at a hefty 2,334 gross tons and sleeps 14 guests across seven cabins.
The full-beam owner’s suite is more penthouse than bedroom, with a private office, dual dressing rooms, twin bathrooms, and even a private terrace with its own Jacuzzi.

There is also a nearby hospital room that can convert into an eighth guest cabin, because of course there is.

It has everything you need in a superyacht, and more
Life onboard leans heavily into resort territory.
There is a massive main salon with a bar, a circular dining room built for long lunches, and an upper lounge that doubles as a cinema.

The gym features a fold-down balcony over the water, perfect for dramatic workout photos, while a hammam, massage room, and beauty salon cover the wellness side.

Up top, the sundeck packs a jet-stream pool, separate Jacuzzi, bar, and lounging zones.

Powered by twin 2,682-horsepower Caterpillar engines, Rocinante cruises long distances with a range of about 6,000 nautical miles and tops out at 17 knots.
She even has a helideck rated for an EC135 with refueling capability.
Leviathan may be the new flagship, but Rocinante is still every inch a billionaire-grade superyacht.
