Introducing the Genesis GV60 Mountain Intervention Vehicle (MIV)
Genesis

Hyundai’s car brand Genesis has released the coolest (both literally and figuratively) one-of-a-kind luxury snowmobile you’ve ever seen.

Using one of its pre-existing SUV models, the concept car was upgraded specifically to handle the ice and snow.

Showcased at the 2025 World Economic Forum in Davos, the luxury snowmobile was built to handle anything the weather could throw at it.

Called the GV60 Mountain Intervention Vehicle (MIV), it’s an absolute beast.

Rugged terrains are snow joke

On January 24, Genesis showcased their newest concept car, the GV60 Mountain Intervention Vehicle (MIV).

Essentially, it’s a snowmobile version of the electric GV60 SUV.

What makes this a luxury snowmobile instead of a normal car?

The automobile company purposely chose all of the accessories and customization for their quality and durability, so that the snowmobile could handle ‘rugged terrains and challenging weather conditions’.

Bad weather can cause so many problems if you’re not driving in the correct vehicle, there’s no doubt about it.

And the owner of this Tesla Cybertruck learned that the hard way when they found themselves stuck in the snow.

With this fabulous snowmobile, Genesis swapped out the SUV wheels for snow tracks making the car far more likely to make it across a snowy landscape.

Instead of a rearview mirror, they fitted the snowmobile with a Garmin GPS Map 276Cx device which would work even if you have no signal.

The vehicle is fitted with medical equipment, bolstered sports seats, and safety equipment like flares in case you get lost and most randomly, a full drone kit in the trunk.

The concept car was also designed to allow you to power rescue equipment on the go using the EV battery.

It is an absolutely epic-looking concept car for an important purpose, what more could you want.
