George Gehdu is the UK’s top supercar dealer and his line of work has brought him into contact with some big names.

Gehdu has sold cars worth millions to rappers and footballers around the world, making a name for himself in the world of supercars.

The supercar dealer to the stars

When selling to a celebrity, it’s advisable to stay on their good side.

Although admittedly, one salesman found that annoying Shaquille O’Neal profited him handsomely, when the basketballer bought three Rolls-Royces.

Gehdu is currently the sales director of supercar dealership GVE London.

It’s from here that he oversees the sales of McLarens, Ferraris and Mercedes.

Despite making big bucks and being a huge success, there have been some difficult moments in his dealing career.

In February 2023, he shared a clip to social media showing his McLaren being attacked by a hood wearing stranger.

With damages totalling thousands of dollars, it was understandably stressful for Gehdu.

He told his followers: “Won’t let this get to me, but putting it out there to show you supercar owners — please be careful as there are scum not even worth stepping on out there in this world who don’t want anyone to own anything nice.

“Unfortunately the police actually came quick enough to make sure I couldn’t get my own way with this vile piece of scum.”

Although his McLaren was a treasured possession, his favorite car has been listed as a Lamborghini SC20.

His website profile also listed ‘making deals’ as one of his hobbies – so which big names has he done business with?

Football stars have been among the famous faces that have walked with the doors of JVE London.

David De Gea, Wilfried Zaha, Ruben Neves and Rodrigo Bentancur have also purchased cars from Gehdu.

Other big spenders that have appeared on Gehdu’s Instagram include rapper Tion Wayne, singer Wes Nelson and the renowned chef Salt Bae.

It seems that Salt Bae has a habit of appearing in random places, like the 2022 World Cup.

In 2023, he sold a car to Bonnie Locket, a car influencer with over two million followers on social media.
