Gordon Murray Automotive’s Le Mans GTR is here
The 2026 edition of the Retromobile show is ongoing.
Crowds of car enthusiasts headed to Paris for the annual spectacle.
And Gordon Murray Automotive is among them.
The supercar firm has used the platform of Retromobile 2026 to unveil something truly special.
And that special reveal is the much-anticipated Le Mans GTR.
The highly exclusive creation had the covers (literally) thrown off at the Joe Macari stand.

Gordon Murray Automotive curated 18 of its vehicles for the presentation.
But the Le Mans GTR was very much the star of the show.
Jamiroquai frontman Jay Kay was also in attendance as part of the presentation.
“We’re excited to reveal the new GMSV Le Mans GTR livery at Rétromobile,” Gordon Murray said on the stage at Retromobile 2026.
“Inspired by legendary endurance racers such as the Porsche 917, it honours the engineering and aesthetic balance of 70s–90s longtail machines while expressing our modern Special Vehicles Design language.”
Murray noted his excitement about how the project will shape the future:
“For me, it’s a celebration of where our inspiration began and a statement about where Special Vehicles is heading next.”

Rare machine comes with impressive setup
So what details do we know about the machine itself?
The unique longtail design is paired with an extreme, striking aero package.
This package includes a low-slung front splitter, a twin-channel rear diffuser, and a spoiler supported by two central pylons.
Inside, a new dashboard can be found with redesigned switches and knobs, reworked pedals, and new seating.
Powering the exclusive machine is an in-house developed and tuned V12 engine.

This powerplant revs to over 12,100rpm.
Transmitting the power is a six-speed manual gearbox.
The Le Mans GTR also comes equipped with a lighter and stiffer suspension, Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires, improved cooling, and optimised weight distribution.
Only 24 units are set to be built by Gordon Murray Special Vehicles (GMSV).
