Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay was recently spotted driving his $1.1 million Aston Martin Valhalla around London, but had an awkward problem with the supercar.
As well as being perhaps the most famous chef in the world, Ramsay also has a passion for cars and racing, and has a very cool collection of high-performance machines.
He has a big love for anything Aston Martin, so it’s no surprise that a Valhalla supercar is one of the cars that he owns.
But, while driving it around London recently with his wife, he was snapped having an awkward moment with the Valhalla.

What was the awkward moment with Gordon Ramsay and the Aston Martin?
Ramsay is one of the first customers to take delivery of their Valhalla.
The supercar has been delayed slightly, with deliveries beginning in 2025.
Filmed by YouTuber TFJJ, Ramsay was seen driving the supercar around London with his wife, Tana, and a slightly amusing moment happened after they reached their destination.
Ramsay couldn’t figure out how to open the dihedral door on the British supercar.
The door handle is hidden, so it took some time to work out how to get the door open.

This was probably one of the first drives Ramsay had with the Valhalla, but it’s highly unlikely to detract from what is a superb supercar.

The Aston Martin Valhalla is a brilliant machine
F1 design genius Adrian Newey had a hand in designing the legendary machine.
Dubbed ‘the son of the Valkyrie’, under the hood is a V8 assisted by three electric motors.
This has made the Valhalla Aston Martin’s first-ever hybrid.
It is a real monster, with a total of 1,064hp and 811lb-ft of torque.
Thanks to that power, the 0-60mph time is just 2.5 seconds with a top speed of 217mph.
The Valhalla has suffered some delays during the design phase.
Several powertrain options were considered before the company settled on a hybrid V8 engine.

Aston Martin showed off the prototype in 2021, but production wouldn’t commence until December 2024.
Like the Mercedes-AMG ONE, the Valhalla has had a difficult birth.
But it would appear that it was very much worth the wait.
