Guys buy the iconic Fiat Cinquecento from The Inbetweeners and it immediately lives up to its reputation

A couple of guys have bought the iconic Fiat Cinquecento from The Inbetweeners, and it has quickly lived up to its reputation.
The two guys from Britain bought a Cinquecento and have created their own faithful replica of the car from the hit TV show that also had a – less successful – US remake.
Both guys traveled to York from London to pick the car up, and their TikTok account shows them going through the process of converting it.
With the car ready, the two have also opened up a business enabling you to be chauffeured around for the day in the car.

The Fiat Cinquecento immediately got into character on the drive home
The two have stressed that the car is not the original from the hit TV show.
But it is the right model year and yellow color, and only a few changes have been needed.
It wasn’t easy to get the car back home, however.
A dodgy fuel sensor meant they stopped on the motorway, virtually out of fuel.
That’s very on-brand, as fans of the TV show will remember ‘The Yellow Peril’ – Simon’s beloved Fiat – breaking down almost constantly.
In the end, a stop at a service station meant they got back on the road again.
Their TikTok currently doesn’t show the car finished as it would have looked in The Inbetweeners.
But a video on their website does show it rolling out of the workshop, complete with TV show decor.
That includes the iconic red door and the tape on the wing mirror.
What can you hire The Inbetweeners car for?
The lads behind the car say you can hire it for a variety of reasons.
The website says it can be used for weddings, school proms, and anything ‘in between’ – get it?
Currently, when you rent it, you aren’t allowed to drive the Fiat.
It comes with a chauffeur to make sure nothing happens to the Fiat on your journey.

That is the next best thing to driving the actual car.
The website includes a few interesting testimonials from those who have hired the Fiat Cinquecento.
Yet it looks like everyone who has hired it so far has had tremendous fun with it.
We can’t wait to see what the lads post on TikTok as the car’s journey continues.
