Scaled replicas of icons like Bugatti and Aston Martin might sound like toys, but these miniature masterpieces from Hedley Studios are anything but.

They’re fully functional electric cars, handcrafted with the same attention to detail you’d expect from the original marques.

And yes, you can actually drive them, though you might get more stares than in a full-size supercar.

What began as a quirky project has evolved into an extraordinary blend of craftsmanship, nostalgia, and high-octane fun.

It all started with the humble Bugatti Baby

The story starts with a dent in a Bugatti Baby.

When Ben Hedley, a lifelong car obsessive, spotted evidence that adults had been trying to squeeze into the pint-size classics, he had a lightbulb moment.

Since adults seem to be so interested in these cars, why not scale them up just enough to make them usable for grown-ups?

His prototype of a 75-percent-size Bugatti Baby II won over the brand itself, sparking the launch of what became the Little Car Company, now known as Hedley Studios.

“I thought you were making a toy, but you made a little car,” one Bugatti executive told him, perfectly capturing the magic.

These scaled replicas don’t come cheap

Since then, Hedley’s team has teamed up with some of the most legendary names in automotive history.

Aston Martin, Ferrari, Bentley, and of course Bugatti all collaborate with the studio to create officially licensed, ultra-limited runs of these ‘drivable art’ machines.

The attention to detail is astonishing: each comes with an authentic chassis plate, a suite of customization options, and performance that makes them surprisingly capable on real roads.

The Bentley Blower Jnr, for example, is not only based on the iconic 1929 4.5-liter Team Car No. 2, but also the brand’s first road-legal scaled re-creation.

Of course, such exclusivity comes at a price.

The full Vault experience comes with a stay at the Four Seasons Tower Bridge in London, fine dining, helicopter transfers, and a one-on-one design session with Hedley.

The price? A cool $352,000, which is enough to buy an actual supercar.

If you’ve deep enough pockets to order one, know that these scaled replicas aren’t just toys, but pint-sized legends you can actually drive.
