A collection of Honda motorcycles surfaced in the market in Louisiana for a surprisingly high price.
Most of these vehicles are all-terrain bikes and ATV-like three wheelers.
But the one vehicle that stands out is a 1986 Honda ATC250R.
An icon that, in this case, is still in the crate and has never been used.

This Honda was probably the reason behind the high price
The collection comprised several Honda motorcycles, including a 1986 Honda ATC250R that was described as the ‘holy grail’ of three wheelers.
It has never left the crate, and it has never been used in nearly 40 years.
We can we see why they call it a ‘holy grail’ because as soon as people realized this ATC in Louisiana was in stock condition, never used and still crated, the collection sold immediately for $200,000.
And this was despite the fact that, as you can see, the images included in the listing on Facebook aren’t exactly Pulizter-winning pictures.
Are minibikes making a comeback?
The Honda ATC250R is a super tiny bike.
It has a 246cc two-stroke engine, with 38 horsepower, and it weighs 300 pounds, about 20 times less than the Cybertruck.
More to the point, it’s interesting to see that tiny bikes like these can sell for as much as $200,000, just weeks after another minute motorcycle sold for $130,000 (albeit there’s a bit of a catch with that one).
Having said that, it just goes to show that people are most definitely interested in minibikes.
Small motorcycles with tiny engines used to be popular in the 1980s and 1990s, but the whole trend sort of just withered away in the 2000s and 2010s.
Until now, we guess.
But if you don’t have the money lying around, you can make a minibike out of a vacuum cleaner, because apparently that’s something people do.
